We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve with our families and the cabin was the perfect spot to spend quality time together. Everything was clean and cozy and the fireplace made it feel like home. It was convenient to all the resort amenities as well. We would love to come back soon

The pictures in the listing do not do this house justice. It’s a lovely gem in the heart of Masanutten. It is the most well-equipped VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! It was perfect for our group of friends and family who were in town for JMU graduation.

I loved the house, it was super clean. I felt right at home. It is beautiful and cozy. The house was very close to the slopes and a short drive to Shenandoah National Park. There is a lot to do around the property.

This house was perfect for a long weekend skiing. Only a 1 minutes drive to the ski lodge. The property was clean and all of the little extras like snacks and laundry detergent were a huge plus. Only complaint was that everyone thought their beds were extremely hard, other than that we loved it.

This was a great stay and will likely book again. Super close to hiking trails. Kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed to cook. Unfortunately the fireplaces weren’t working when we went, but we still had a wonderful time. The tv does not have basic local cable though and we planned to watch the World Series each night. Host was very responsive about this, as it was listed incorrectly on the Airbnb site. The fire pit is actually a propane fire table but was super easy to use and lovely. I would highly recommend this place.

The thought that was put into the place was great, we had everything we need and more.. I think they have heard every feedback, big and small and implemented it.. Thought about everything that a guest visiting the resort would need and provided it.. The house has two bedrooms on the first floor, one in the basement + sofa bed and two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, each with two full beds (pull out from under the bed).. Each of the floor has a full bathroom.. The kitchen is very well stocked, we did not use the grill.. There is a grocery store 5 mins (actually walkable) away, food from Campfire Grill was really good..
There are a lot of instructions, which could feel overwhelming, but not to worry, they are just the regular instructions and mostly common courtesy actions that all AirBnB's ask for..
We did have a couple of issues when we checked in, but the response from the host was super fast and they fixed the issues within a couple of hours, we did not have any issues thereafter..

The only way we could have family (12 of us) attend our son's graduation was to rent a large house. Acorn lodge met our requirements and made our visit memorable. Enough room for everyone to sleep in a comfortable bed and being able to cook meals for everyone made it cost effective. Property was "as advertised " and everyone in our family is still talking about it. Everyone said we need to book it again in 4 years when our incoming freshman will graduate. Thanks for everything!! Amazing stay for our two families with young children. Paradise found had absolutely everything needed for our stay and was minutes away from skiing, tubing and the waterpark. The home is large with plenty of room for large or multiple families.

Great location. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and great big gas grill. Perfect for our big group. The resort is nice too as we did some exploring one afternoon but mostly hung out at the house with its expansive deck and sitting areas. A great facility for a large group like ours. Greatly enjoyed our time at Paradise Found! Everything we needed was easily found in the cabin. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep or relax even with our group being close to the max occupancy. House is right in the corner so extremely easy to walk or drive to the pool. General store also very quick and easy drive. Internet had no problem keeping up with all of us. Overall great stay and would definitely stay at Paradise Found again if in the area!

We loved the place and would choose it again. However the pullout sofa down stairs didn’t seem to have a mattress, just a set of springs with barely a cover on them. Even the children couldn’t sleep on it. Also a queen in the smaller upstairs bedroom would be better for 3 couples staying there. One of our couples only had one person coming so it worked out.

We booked this property for a family gathering and I couldn’t recommend it more! The house had anything and everything you needed, I was surprised at the kitchen accessories available, you will honestly lack for nothing when it comes to preparing meals! We really liked staying here. Great location, as our teens were able to walk around to different activities (pool, mini golf, market). There was plenty of room to spread out and the house was super clean, especially for a pet friendly rental. Beds were firm but comfortable. The sofa bed was the only less comfortable bed, so maybe don’t count on that as a good bed for anyone except a child. Kitchen was well equipped and communication from the property manager was excellent. We would rent it again!

Oh man, RENT Paradise found in the heart of Massanutten. My family and I had a blast . The home is on the resort so everything is near even the dears that greet you every morning. The home is clean, spacious enough room for 3 families of four. You can do more as long as you bring blow up beds because them bunkbeds are very small. they do have pullout couches they are hard too. This property will stay on our Airbnb list. Let’s keep Airbnb going because the Government is trying to stop home owners from renting their properties out so families can rent hotels instead of Airbnbs .

Lovely large house with three floors for guests so you don’t get in each others’ way. This was our first time in Massanutten and it is a trip! So many things to do. Lots of hiking nearby and that’s where we spent our time. Comfy beds, comfy living room, and downstairs is very separate and cozy. Prepared all of our meals there and ate together as a family which we haven’t done in a few years. Note: bring your own bath soaps and shampoo.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is very easy to find and provides plenty of parking. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices. We had some difficulty in maintaining a comfortable measure with the thermostat; it could get very cold or very warm, with little response from the thermostat after adjusting it. Other than that, the house was perfect for our group and had great views of the area!

We enjoyed our time here. Location has a view over the surrounding area. It is only a few minutes from snow tubing and 10 minutes from the indoor water park. We saw deer several times. The house was kept clean. There is much room for people to move about and several TVs if you are looking for several people to have their own space. There is also shopping for groceries or a mall within 20-25 minutes if necessary. Great place to get out and enjoy the surroundings or just kick back and enjoy some company, games, TV, or just sleep. Beautiful views from the large windows, especially if it is snowing. Snow removal is provided.
Upon arrival I communicated any issues or disturbances within the home so as to provide good communication, provide information on how I found the place upon arrival and let them know of small issues they could then address -if no-one knows than how can one fix it? It was nothing big - just a loose towel bar and loose screws in a cupboard door, oh and a can opener that you have to get to know well in order to make it work. They are willing and did once show up to help address any issues that may occur. Good communication.
I can't think of a reason not to stay here when it comes to all of that.
I will make one note for those of you who may have people with asthma or compromised breathing. I believe because the home structurally has two fireplaces, only the top one is to be used, the basement fire place seems to occasionally pull in a little smoke from the top one when being used therefore creating a smoky smell in the basement. (I am not super knowledgable about this but researched it via the internet while there.) Perhaps the folks before us had trouble using the fireplace also. I am not sure. We opened one of the windows a crack to help with air pressure and circulation and that seemed to help by the end of our stay. I believe this does not reflect on the company but on how the house was originally was built and is structured but perhaps information you would like to know.

This home was in the perfect location! The house was extremely spacious, clean and had all that we needed to enjoy our vacation. It was close to the pool, mini-golf, the adventure park and other attractions on the resort. This home is especially great for kids- we had a toddler with us, and it was so nice having the 3 separate levels for him to run around and be as noisy as needed. The check-in process was seamless- we were provided extensive information leading up to our trip to be sure we had what was needed. We loved our visit and would definitely return.

Our family fell in love with this beautiful home, especially more for being pet friendly. Communication was great. Paradise Found was exactly what we needed! The welcoming main floor has a huge fireplace, well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms and a full bath. The loft was perfect for kids! Two bedrooms back to back with nice quality bunk beds, a 3/4 bathroom and a cozy bean bag sitting area. The basement has a second family room with fireplace (unavailable for use), a small kitchenette with table and a foosball table. Also located in the basement was a large bedroom, full bath and laundry room. The only things that would have made the stay better was if they had an outdoor fire pit, hot tub or heat in the basement. The fireplace would have provided the much needed heat and fortunately on the second night we found a space heater. The bed in the basement was a bit uncomfortable and a tv in the bedroom would have been a bonus. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and will definitely rent this property again! The location is spot on for getting to all the amenities. Deer came up to us in the yard and we could even pet them! Next time we hope to stay a lot longer!

Great home! Loved the firewood and the ability to build a real fire! Very convenient to the resort. We could see the tubing hill and slopes from our window.
The rooms were large enough on the main level and in the basement to accommodate luggage and bulky items, but the upstairs rooms with bunk beds were a bit small. I suggest kids stay in those as opposed to adults. The only other suggestion I would make is to make sure you don’t take long showers. The water heater is not large enough to accommodate everyone showering after a day on the slopes. By the time we got to the forth person, we were out of hot water.
The home was very nice and I loved the vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows. I would definitely stay here again!

The view from the front decks and windows is great for being able to see the tubing hill and ski slopes, especially at night! It’s a nice place, it is the heart of Massanutten. So many activities you and your family/friends will enjoy. Just make sure to call for reservations or if they’re open because it’s covid I believe they’ve changed their hours of operations. But we mostly stayed inside, me and my friends brought a lot of food and watches movies and just had a good time. We walked around the area and it’s just beautiful. Surely be back here because 2days is just not enough.

With close access to Shenandoah, and great WiFi for when I had to work, we had a perfect stay. Check-in was seamless, there is a massive amount of space for larger groups, but still felt cozy for just two of us and our pup. The bed was comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was the best entertainment each night!

Great place, especially in the fall when the trees in the wooded lot are a blaze with color. My kids loved seeing deer pass through the property. Space inside well thought out, making it feel massive. Very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful time at Paradise Found! The property was very spacious, and everything seemed clean and updated. We had three adults and a small dog on our trip, but we certainly had the room to accommodate additional guests if needed. The kitchen was well-stocked, the main floor and basement beds were very comfortable, and the house had a lovely, homey feel. The hosts are also incredibly responsive—we booked at the last minute after a planned reservation in a different town was cancelled, and they did a great job of getting the property ready for us. We certainly would visit again!

This property has it all, our families loved the extra added space in the basement that stood alone as a separate unit for one family.
The amenities were great, they had just about everything you could ask for.
The location is great, private, but close to everything within Massanutten Resort.
Only minor, minor issue we had was the thermostat did not seem to respond, so the basement was comfortable, the middle floor was bearable, but the upstairs rooms were pretty warm. That aside, there was nothing we could complain about and will look forward to staying with them again!

By far the best Air b n b that I have ever stayed at. The house was absolutely stunning and had good appliances and amenities. Would recommend !!!! Definitely staying here again in the winter since it’s so close to the slopes.

Perfect location! We had a blast on our family ski trip. Kitchen had everything we needed, enough room for everyone to spread out, & good views to the slopes. We had deer visit every morning we were there. The only thing I would recommend would be to upgrade the mattresses.

The best value in Massanutten. Located directly across from the ski slopes and ski lodge, it is central to all of the winter activities and near the golf course for the summer. The layout of the house gives everyone plenty of room to spread out but also offers a great room that is perfect for bringing everyone together. Will definitely look to book again for our next Massanutten trip.

A+ Experience!
The 117 Rainier house was wonderful, and well stocked, and our host was very attentive when we called and had a schedule challenge to solve. Mary took great care of us, and suggested a solution that fit perfectly. 
There were plenty of kitchen items, and the plush towels were awesome. The short version of the rules and check out guidelines on the refrigerator was appreciated. There were tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels beyond anything we could need, and we were grateful to find the big book of information, as well as little things like salt and pepper, coffee maker, blow dryers, etc... We felt the experience was an A+. -Rick Corrado.
