Had a great time with our family. House was spacious and clean. Grandkids loved the bunk beds Close to all amenities which indoor was nice but water is not heated.

Absolutely loved staying here! It was very spacious and clean when we arrived. Jeremy gave very clear instructions which was helpful. It’s very close to the ski lodge as well. The fire pit and hot tub were great additions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! Would highly recommend.

Quick trip up to Massanutten this property worked out great. 2 miles from all the resort amenities, access to the rec centers with pools and fitness. House was spacious and clean.

This house had it all! Nice beds, kitchen had a lot of new pots and pans and everything you really need. Helpful the fridge had water and ice on the outside which was nice. Great location, 5 minutes from water park and 5min from mountain. Stay included use of 2 different rec centers. Had a little trouble with no pilot light in the fireplace but they came out right away and fixed it/showed us what to do. Only wish check out was more 12am vs. 10am. Would stay again!

Excellent home in a beautiful place! We love the area! We have spent the past 3 1/2 years staying in Airbnb’s while visiting our daughter- a now graduate of James Madison University.
Large spaces for extended family to stay together. Our family enjoyed the chilly nights relaxing in the Hot Tub!

House was beautiful! We had deer in the backyard everyday! Hot tub was perfect! No complaints! The only thing people should be aware of is the acorns dropping on your car in the driveway (luckily none of our cars had damage). We would definitely stay here again!

We came with our 3 adult children for three nights for some skiing at Massanutten. The house was perfect for our needs: large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with TVs in every bedroom, and a fantastic hot tub. It was very convenient to the slopes.

We stayed for a couples retreat. Everything was exactly how it was advertised. The only thing that I had noticed was that the fireplace didn’t work. That was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed ourselves!

Property was clean and perfect for 3 couples to spend a week exploring the area. We enjoyed the screened in porch for our morning coffee and the hot tub/fire pit for relaxing in the evening. Well equipped with enough supplies to start our stay. Would stay here again!

We are a family of 6 with 3 preteens and a 7 year old. The house was absolutely perfect! Clean, stocked with everything we needed. There was so much to do in the area that we didn’t have enough time to get to it all in 5 days. Highly recommend the resort and the house!

Bear Lodge was just as described and pictured. We were very comfortable there for a week. There was plenty of room for many our family of four; it would be a great spot for two families to enjoy. Plenty of room for 2 families. Kids loved the bunk bed room. Fireplace was a little tricky to get started but we finally managed. Driveway steep and narrow for large suv. 5 minutes to the ski drop off, waterpark and spa. Hot tub was awesome.

We're two families with kids 6 and under. We used this lovely home for a getaway to do some hiking in the Shenandoah national park. Getting to our hikes took about an hour (it's the nature of getting to the skyline drive and to the trailhead you want), and then we returned to a beautiful home and relaxing hot tub! Resort amenities were available (indoor water park and more), but we did not partake as we had perfect hiking weather. We did a grocery pick up at the Food Lion in Elkton and the home had everything we needed to cook, grill, and serve our party of 8. Home was clean, comfy, and even had an electric fireplace that was heaven to sit next to at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Massanutten Bear Lodge!
We had two families stay here with 4 young children under the age of 6. It was perfect! The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. My kids loved the bunk room! The added touch of kids toys, games and books was a fun bonus!
The adults enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, fire pit and hot tub!
This home is nestled in a beautiful wooded area. It was peaceful, relaxing and a true getaway. We came to explore Shenandoah National Park which was about a 20 min drive from the house. We hope to come again to enjoy the resort amenities!
Would highly recommend this home for families with kids or large families!!

I was great the only thing I lost power during the storm and ac did not come back on and I am asthmatic and COPD and I suffered, could not get no help with that or anyone to come out and look at it lost power friday night and suffered with no AC from return of the power. And then had to do a late departure and was charged $75.00 till 12 noon and left earlier than 12 no one would accomodate on that . OVERALL nice place.. I left it squeaky clean and they charge a cleaning fee, I returned as I was given it.. EXTRA CLEAN .

We enjoyed our stay at Massanutten Bear Lodge. The property was clean and spacious. We encountered bees at the hot tub, and the property manager responded promptly to treat the area. There were several deer and baby dawn that “visited” us each night by the back porch.

This was a perfect place for our two families to meetup for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our group of 7. The two master bedrooms with attached baths were comfortable for the adults and the kids loved the bunk room. There was plenty of seating for all and we enjoyed using both the hot tub and gas grill. Would definitely consider coming back again!

We enjoyed the house and it's amenities. The only negative was there was no TV that worked in the master bedroom. When I let them know the tv didn't work they offered to have someone come in to fix it, which we appreciated. The house was a great escape from the hustle of city living

This house was very comfortable and very well laid out. The kitchen had basic necessities, the bathrooms and bedrooms were good sized, and we got to see deer every morning. The owners were very quick to reply to a couple small snags regarding our stay and were accommodating in that regard. I'd recommend staying here. My only caveat is that if you have noisy neighbors there's not much you can do since the windows are single pain glass, so they aren't especially noise suppressing. However, this was the only downside, and a minor one that only effected the 2 of us staying in the master bedroom, the other 8 in our party had no issues.

The house was beautiful and spacious. Very clean and all the beds were super comfortable. Set in a neighborhood setting, so lacked the privacy and Mountain Views, but still very nice. The hot tub wasn’t working the first night, but the property management was great! They were on it immediately and remedied the issue. Great costumer service.
