great place, only minor issues is the driveway should have been cleared/shoveled better, to allow for parking, and the trash dumpsters were not available at the address we were given, which made for unnecessary inconvenience, thank you,jgasior

Amazing property and location. Convenient to everything at Massanutten. All bedrooms had comfortable beds. Pool table, theater room, and multitude of games kept kids (and adults alike) busy while we were in the house. Woke up every morning to a group of deer walking through the yard. Such a peaceful trip!

We loved our stay. Four adults, four kids (ages 4-8). The house is close to the Base Camp area and water park. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes- you will need to bring your own ziplock bags, aluminum foil, etc. if you plan to cook there. The bunk rooms were perfect for the kids, or for a family to share. We enjoyed the hot tub, air hockey table, and theater. We loved the master rain shower. Two sets of washers/dryers was very convenient. Would definitely rent this house again on a future visit.

This i hi Ouse is much larger than expected. Very comfortable. The one thing we would have preferred is to have some privacy in the bathroom. It is wide open with no door.

Every year over the weekend after Halloween, my family and the family of dear friends seek out some cooler temperatures and beautiful foliage in the mountains of Massanutten. This year we stumbled upon Margarita Villa and enjoyed every minute of our 4 days! There was ample space for 8 people (everyone had their own bed), plenty of parking, and lots of activities for the evening hours with the air hockey and pool tables and hot tub. We were greated every morning by a large buck who would graze on what was left of the grass while we sipped coffee and had breakfast. A quick drive to the resort and all of the amenities that offered, the cabin was also close to town, major roads, and so many of the other activities that draw you to the countryside. We were excited for a pet friendly rental with reasonable fees and Spud the dog enjoyed all the smells the woods afforded. It was a great weekend and we're excited to plan our trip for next year!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Margarita Villa home. The theater room was a hit and the kitchen was very well stocked. The hosts were extremely responsive and even went above and beyond. The day before our arrival, I asked what type of coffee machine was in the home (should we bring kcups or grounds?). The host explained that a drip style coffee maker was in the home and that they provided some coffee grounds to get us started. We arrived and were surprised to find that they added the Kuerig coffee maker and still included the drip coffee pot. This was so helpful to our group and we really appreciated this extra care.

Our family of 13 had a great time at this property, it is a great house with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The kids especially loved the theater room! The house was fully stocked, clean, and even nicer in person than the pictures showed. I'd definitely recommend it for a large group.

We (two families of 5 and 4) and our dog stayed at this property for three nights in December. It is located inside the Massanutten resort so it close to tubing, skiing, and the water park. The house had plenty of space for us. The theater room and hot tub were a big hit. The house was clean and well stocked. Overall it was a great stay. One thing to note that there is no trash pickup at the house, so you take your trash to a set of dumpsters about 4 minutes drive in the resort. Not a big deal for us but something to note. We would definitely stay again.

Despite being in town for a funeral, our stay at Margarita Villa was a very nice experience. The House sits off of a cul-de-sac and provides privacy, plenty of space to walk our little dogs without worrying about traffic. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and extra blankets, clean bathrooms, the master shower is amazing, the theater room was really neat, plenty of fun stuff to do around the house, plenty of kitchen appliances and accessories to do just about whatever you need to do. Access to lower garage was very helpful as we had a wheelchair bound family member. There is still a few steps to deal with from both entrances but this house doesn't claim to be ADA and it still worked out fine for us. We will definitely consider this house in the future for a more fun reason. Lovely Home.

The Margarita Villa was beautiful and cozy! So spacious & equipped with everything we could have needed to have a great weekend away. The theater was way bigger than in the pictures. There was ample parking & the hot tub was great. The only small downside was that the 2 lower refrigerator doors were not sturdy at all or fitted very well within the frame & slid out & cracked in half immediately upon loading the fridge. But the host was very responsive throughout our stay about that & any other questions we had & we enjoyed the house very much! Would stay again!

We rented this house for 2 families with 4 kids. It worked out great. Plenty of room and the house was very clean. The theatre room is huge a great place for kids to hang out. Only wierd thing is the lack of doors on the bathrooms in the 2 king bed bedrooms. No privacy. Kinda wierd but not a huge deal. The communication from property manager was fantastic. Any question was answered within 15 minutes. It is very convenient to so many great places (Shenandoah National Park, Massanutten, water parks, ect). I would definitely recommend.

We ran into a couple of small issues during our stay and when we reported it to VPMS, they were always quick to respond. The kids loved the theater room, air hockey, and pool tables. Our group of 12, ranging from infant to adults, plus 2 dogs, had a wonderful 3 night stay in July at Margarita-villa at Massanutten. We couldn’t believe the size of the house when we arrived- the pictures didn’t capture how spacious the rooms would be. Parking in front of the house and in the back was plentiful, in addition to having access to parking a car in the garage as well. The house location felt private despite having neighbors, which was nice. The amenities listed in the post were accurate; the house was stocked with a lot of supplies and kitchen items. The kids absolutely loved the large theatre room. The location was within 5 min from the water park, playgrounds, restaurants, and other activities. We took advantage of the community pool as well, which was a nice perk to have by staying at this location. The property management was helpful and very responsive before and during the trip which was great. Overall, a wonderful trip and we would stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property. Great location. It was spacious, organized and clean on the inside for the most part. The master bedroom with whirlpool tub and large walk in shower was beautiful! The theater room was an awesome feature. It would’ve been even better had the surround sound been functioning properly. The outside of the home could use more care and attention, the decks in particular. The second feature that drew us to this property was the hot tub. Unfortunately , we did not get much use out of it. When we arrived it wasn’t clean and the the water level was too low. However, once a call was placed, a service technician was out the next morning. Communication was great. Plenty of decent dining options on the resort and in the surrounding area. If you’re planning to cook the kitchen is well stocked with all the essential equipment. There’s a supermarket less than 15 minutes away.

There was something for everyone with lots of elbow room. We couldn’t have imagined a better environment to relax, unwind, and connect with family. Pool table, hot tub, games, theater room, air hockey, spacious yard (we put up a three person hammock that the kids loved), private balcony, clean, well-stocked kitchen with many appliances. Plenty to do in the area as well… caverns, zip-lining, horseback riding, shopping, escape room, even white water rafting. Communication/responsiveness with the owners was prompt and courteous. Would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay. It’s a fun house with lots of amenities. We had 14 people in the house and had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the air hockey table, pool table, multiple game tables, hot tub and the very large theatre room. There are two driveways so plenty of parking. Vacation Properties Made Simple did a good job of communicating before, during and after our stay. We would stay here again.

We had a great visit. The movie room was really cool! But, I wouldn’t include that in a sleeping situation unless people are ok to sleep on the very small roll-out chair beds. Lots of room and very comfortable space otherwise. We had an issue with the TV and the company came right away to fix it. Very pleased with the customer service.
There isn’t much to do in the area outside of the Massanutten resort activities, and besides skiing, the snow tubing and water park require advanced ticket purchases which we missed out on. Not any quality restaurants either - we relied on delivery from Harrisonburg - but we preferred that to cooking ourselves. Overall, it was relaxing and since we were on vacation we didn’t care!

While I read the many great reviews about this rental, I was even more impressed with the house. The location to the ski resort was so nice-less than 10 minutes away. Tons of room for the entire family, plenty of paper goods, soap, towels, etc. Very clean rental and great communications with the management. The theatre room was fantastic!!

Lovely place! Big house in a lovely neighborhood with great amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you need to cook big meals over and over. The grill worked great and the kitchen has a lovely triple oven and 2 dishwashers which was perfect for making and cleaning up after big meals. Large dining room table just off the kitchen. Plenty of parking and a 2 car garage with two driveways was perfect for the 4 cars we had. The community was great - beautifully manicured, safe, and has plenty to do like take hikes, zip line, golf, mini-golf. Beds very comfortable, clean house and linens, fully stocked kitchen, fast wifi. Great communication with host too. Highly recommend.

This house was even better than I expected from the photos! On the first floor there is a living room with plenty of games and books, a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining room table, a bar and pool table, and access to the massive garage with air hockey and places to sit. Also on the first floor is the deck with the hot tub, as well as 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer! Upstairs another bedroom and bathroom, another washer and dryer, an extremely impressive theater room (definitely the favorite amenity for my kids!), and a very spacious master suite. We enjoyed all of the amenities! The kitchen is great for cooking or there are lots of restaurants to get delivery from. Lots of parking. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 to spread out. If mobility is an issue, be mindful there are a few steps to access the first floor, but brining a small ramp should help wheelchair users. We loved staying at this house! We would definitely stay here again!

The home is everything the pictures show and more! It’s enormous with great amenities and things to do. We stayed in one day during our stay and never got bored! It’s close to hikes and adventures outside and inside the resort. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented this house for our sons graduation from James Madison. It was perfect we were able to get to and from the graduation ceremony easily and instead of having to deal with the crowds and restaurants we just came back to this house for a nice relaxing dinner with the whole family. House was well stocked to prepare meal. House had lots to do and lots of space to do it in. Played pool and air hockey big table for cards and hot tub. Nice home,Rather expensive but you get what you pay for.Whole family enjoyed Margaritavilla.Just a few hiccups with small things like bad batteries in a few remotes,and the lack of tips on the pool cues.Great movie Rm,and loved the hot tub.Will definitely be back again...

We booked this house for a long weekend away to ski and relax. The whole house exceeded our expectations! The movie theatre was amazing and a great place to watch the Olympics. The skiing and tubing was super close and convenient. We would definitely rent this property again!

Exactly as pictured, except the movie room which is even better in person!! Home was immaculately clean and smelling fresh upon arrival, would never have known pets had previously occupied. Master shower takes time to heat up, all amenities work as expected. Christmas tree and stockings were a plus. Thanks for an amazing stay, would love to revisit!!

This house was great for a reunion. There are two single rooms and the others have shared bunks and beds so be mindful. Plenty of activities in the house and the theatre room was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My husband and I were very pleased with this location. We invited friends to celebrate his 40th birthday, and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. Some of the seating could use a good update, but it was still relaxing. We only discovered 4 bedrooms in this house, but the beds were very comfortable. All in all, we would love to stay at this beautiful location again.

My friends & I rented this pet friendly home for a birthday weekend getaway. The home has 4 bedrooms & a theater room which can close off if an additional “bedroom” is needed. If you’re using the theater room as a bedroom for adults, you will need to use the air mattress provided or move the bunk bed mattresses into the room. The theater room has two chairs that fold out into a small twin bed on the floor & a bean bag chair that can be used for children. Two of the 4 bedrooms include bunk beds in addition to a larger bed making it a little crowded. The master bedroom was very spacious with a balcony. The shower was impressive, included a jacuzzi tub & the bed was comfortable! The hot tub was amazing & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals for our group. The home has lots of entertainment (pool table, air hockey, games) & the large garage was a bonus (we used it to set up our cornhole tables during the rain). Massanutten Resort is also nearby & has plenty of fun activities you can book (golf, water park, spa, skiing, etc). The home is in a lovely quiet neighborhood & has two driveways which can accommodate many vehicles. Check-in & out was a breeze, however, you have to drive the trash to a separate location not on the rental property. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay & would recommend this Airbnb for families with children who may want their pup to tag along.

The house was beyond what was advertised, so very spacious and with so many activities to do. We stayed with 4 adults and 5 children ( 2 families) and there was plenty to do the whole time. Besides the pool table, air hokey, hot tub and an amazing theatre , I found a shelf with board games and children’s books such a great addition with a home touch . Kitchen had everything we needed. Two sets of washer and dryer is very convenient for two families especially with kids. Area has a lot to offer depending what you are into.
Communications were prompt with the management of the property .
Would recommend this property for larger families as it has very family oriented touch to it.

We loved our stay here. Between the pool table, hot tub, board games, grill, theater room, air hockey, etc. there was plenty to do in the house. The area around the house was great too. Quiet neighborhood with lots of activities nearby. We went hiking and geocaching, rode go-karts, went tubing down the mountain slopes, did an escape room, and spent plenty of time at the pool -- all within a less than 10 minute drive from the house. We appreciated having access to the HOA pool, it was not crowded and was a nice size. The kitchen is well appointed although not huge -- great size for one or two people to work in together. The theater room, on the other hand, was much larger than I realized from the description and a great spot to unwind and watch movies or tv.

Everything was amazing! A few friends and I went on a little trip just to get away and we loved our stay! They house was better then the pictures. It’s so big and has enough space for everyone comfortably. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and eating (pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils wise). The theater room was awesome, and everyone enjoyed playing pool and air hockey! The hot tub was easy to use and such a nice add to the stay. I loved the house and would definitely go back!

This home and all of its amenities was perfect for our 3 adults and 3 kids aged 12, 11, and 7. The home was clean and comfortable. We all agreed that half of the downstairs and all of the upstairs was super fancy, but the entire house wasn't so fancy that we couldn't make ourselves at home. I appreciated the second driveway that isn't up a steep incline, but if there's no ice, the other driveway is really convenient because you can pull right up to or in the garage. We had some technical difficulties hooking up all the electronic things that are available in the theatre room, but we wouldn't have used them all anyway. Heat rises so our first night upstairs got pretty hot so we would advise lowering the thermostats before bed. Everything you'd want in the kitchen is provided, even a waffle maker! It was pretty cold in the garage so we didn't use the air hockey table as much as we might have in warmer temperatures. A little space heater in there would be a nice touch. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and given its very convenient location we used it a lot - even if the kids just hopped in for a 10 minute soak multiple times a day. The next time we have a ski trip, we will definitely return here.
