Booking & Cancellation Policies

Check-In: 4:00 PM (keyless entry begins at this time).
Check-Out: 10:00 AM.
Flexible Cancellation Policy: Guests may cancel up to 30 days before arrival for a refund (administrative fees and insurance are non-refundable). Optional Cancel For Any Reason and Standard Travel Insurance are available for purchase.

Nice old house, updated but kept some of the original features. Pretty area, we really enjoyed grand caverns nearby and lots of nearby trails for hiking and biking.

We had a great stay here! Very quiet and off the main roads. I think we saw maybe 2 cars drive by the entire weekend! Very comfy and cozy and had everything we needed!

Served our needs well.

I asked if there was cell phome reception at this property, I was told yes but check with my specific carrier. Bottle line is there is not reception at the property. Luckily I was provided the wifi log in information. The combination I was given for the door was wrong. I was able to log into the wifi outside the house to be able to call and get it worked out. This would have been a much bigger deal if I had to drive back to town for cell reception. We got in and the place smelled like cigarette smoke, but that seemed to disapate or we got used to it. The house is old but clean and well kept. It bummed. worked well for us to take day trips from. Overall we liked the place and would recommend it to others.

Great location next to hiking trails, we did use rec passes and kids enjoyed indoor basketball and arcade. Beautiful outdoor scenery with campfire. House was nice, clean and very historic. Recommend this location for fun family getaway vacation ♥️

Little farmhouse

The house has a farm feel but close to necessities. The layout provided some privacy for guests upstairs. Ample paper/plastic products and toiletries provided for our stay. Plenty of bath towels also. We had one issue during our stay that was promptly addressed. Would stay here again!

We really like the house and it’s location. It was perfect for what we needed, but there was a musty odor that we actually used Febreze and it went away. We tried to go back there again for Christmas, but it was booked.

Did a Mountain Bike weekend with two buddies. Proximity to the Western Slopes and trails West of Harrisonburg was perfect. House was clean, easy to find, and perfect for an isolated weekend in the country, but yet still close to civilization and outdoor activities. Will come back again.

comfortable and private!

This was a great getaway. The house is clean and redone and very private. Farms and mountains are all around. We could see animals grazing directly across the street from us! Outdoors steps leading to the parking spot are broken, so take care.

Great house for our group of 5 adults, 5 teens & 3 dogs! Host was very responsive before & during stay! Within walking distance from western slope for hiking & biking was convenient. Resort passes provided extra entertainment for all.

Birthday Trip

The facility was very nice for an old house. Very close to the Massanutten Resort and town. The house was very warm with temperatures outside below freezing. It is a new listing on Vrbo and the house has limited items to use if you are cooking alot.
