Very clean nice house lots of space for multiple family’s! Super close to the ski resort and the arcade. The water park is right across the street. Lots of cooking utensils everything was almost like you where at home l super awesome quick enjoyable stay.

Family of 10, enjoyed or stay in this beautiful home. Looks just like the picture’s. Close to Massanutten for snowboarding (about 15 min). The only part we disliked is the drive way that is so steep. You have to park at the bottom and “exercise your way up” Not good when traveling with elders. Out of 5 Br’s only the master bedroom has a tv. It would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. Besides that I’d definitely recommend. I would definitely stay again.

This is our second time renting cocoa cabin, it is clean and spacious. We love the outdoor area and the beautiful screened in porch for family meals. Comfy beds and nicely appointed.

We had a great trip and the rental was wonderful! The house had everything we could need and things we didn't even think of. It was geared towards families and the thought and care that went into the spaces to be kid friendly were greatly appreciated. Our boys loved the bunk room, roasting marshmallows and all the games/activities.

I can’t say enough good things about Cocoa cabin. I took my son and his friends away for a few days for spring break and it was the perfect home for us. So well appointed with furniture, the air hockey table the theater room and I so appreciated the coffee and snacks. Beautiful home!!! We would definitely come back to visit.

We booked this cabin for a last minute getaway with young children and adults. The home had something for everyone from hot tub to firepit to air hockey. The younger kids loved that they had their own tv room downstairs next to their bunk bedrooms. The home was clean, so much was provided for us, really a home away from home. It's about ten minutes from Massanutten Resort activities, but right across the street from the waterpark which was really convenient since you can come and go all day when you visit the waterpark/arcade. The only minor setback is having to drive the trash several miles to dispose of it at check out, but otherwise, 5/5!

We had a great stay for a long weekend away with friends! The house was clean and well stocked. Kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub. We were surprised to see the house was not within Massanutten resort but it’s across the street from the Waterpark entrance, about 10min to top of mountain for snow sports. We loved how private the back patio felt and the gas fire pit was a great feature. Pay attention though, when the listing says the driveway is steep - it’s STEEP!! Like, doesn’t level out ant the top and is angled so sharply that our truck that was low on gas wouldn’t start because the sensor couldn’t read the tank level due to the angle! No worries, we coasted in Neutral to the street and it started. Thank you for sharing your home with us - we had a great time!

Lovely house in a great location (less than ten minutes from the slopes). We loved the different hang-out areas, the younger ones in the group could get loud in the lower level without bothering us oldies. The hottub great to soak in after ski-ing, and the star gazing was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and nice quality towels & linens.

This property was a very nice vacation for my families annual ski trip. We enjoyed the property. The kids enjoyed it as well. The property management was in touch if needed. The only downside was the parking on the steep incline to the property driveway. We would definitely rent it again.

We had a great stay at Cocoa Cabin. Close to the national park, wineries, etc. and very close to all the resort attractions. Home was clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Only complaint was that we had to drive the garbage eight miles up the mountain to take it out. Pretty inconvenient for the premium rental price we paid, but otherwise everything was great.

Great home. Clean. Plenty of room. Simple but beautiful decor. Outdoor area (hot tub and fire pit) was a hit. Loved that we didn’t have to pack things like soap, coffee filters, seasonings for cooking, etc. Downstairs area for kids was a definite plus. The home has plenty of room for multiple families.
The one and only thing that we didn’t like was the trash situation. Having to take multiple bags almost 10 minutes away while trying to pack and get out by checkout time was frustrating. None of us drove our pickup trucks so we had to figure out a way to put bags in our SUVs without leakage. I’d rather pay an extra fee for trash removal or have a closer location to dump the trash.

Our three families had a wonderful time staying and skiing! The kids loved the adorable bunk bed room, the air hockey table, Astroids, and the large gaming TV/couch room. We adults loved the table that sat all 8 of us for dinner, and the comfy beds.

Everything is as pictured, we didn't have any issues during our stay. Clear communication, check in & out was super easy, beds were comfortable, very clean - although we're in the woods, there was not a bug to be seen! Kitchen was fairly well stocked though there were some things that would've been nice to have like smaller sized plates and bowls, but nothing critical was missing. There were plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, etc provided for our stay as well. The air hockey table, hot tub, fireplace, and connect 4 games made the stay cozy and fun. Also, the nearby Brewhaha brewery was a great place for us to chill before our check in time. Highly recommend!

Great location, quality amenities and setup, just like described. We wanted a space to play board games, enjoy the fall weather, light a fireplace, and soak in a hot tub. We got to do all we wanted. The driveway is very steep (only one set of wheel blocks provided) so be prepared when loading/unloading - there’s space for 3 cars off street, more on the driveway but you’ll want blocks. Towels were aplenty, beds comfortable, and space felt nice, not cheap. Great little touches like coffee, snacks, lots of cooking utensils and cooking appliances. The instructions were a bit confusing about fires - you can light the wood one indoors and the gas pit outside, but no lighting random bonfires or bringing your own open fire stoves,etc. Questions were answered quickly though and they provide a stack of firewood which was another nice touch. Would rent again!

We had a great time staying at Cocoa Cabin. The house was spotlessly clean, the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of pots & pans, plates and coffee. The location was perfect. There were a number of restaurants nearby and an entrance to Shenandoah National Park is about 10 miles away. The only issue was driving to drop off trash since there were no trash cans a on site.

Our party had a great time. Scenery was very nice, there were some interesting things nearby like a water park and escape room. The only challenging thing was the driveway for the property was on a very steep hill. I could see this being an issue for folks with a difficult time walking. Still 5 out of 5 easy in and out and helpful customer service.

First off our ages are 55+ parents and our 2 children (27 & 25) and their spouses. Due to recent health issues we were unable to travel very far so we chose Massanutten. We had the most wonderful time enjoying each others company. There is plenty of room in this home. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch. We prepared dinner in the well stocked kitchen and ate on the porch almost every night. We cleared the table and then played family games until we couldn't stay awake. Easy check in and out. Our only issue that should have been communicated better was the steepness of the driveway, lol. I am recovering from a broken foot, sprained ankle and pulmonary embolisms and let me tell you that hill is no joke. They do provide chocks for your cars, which is suggested! So easy to turn the driveway to the right at the top and make a more level spot to park at least one car for us older folk. We are planning to spend time there next summer since we had such a good time.

There are lots of supplies in this home - paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex like tissue, dishwasher pods, dishwashing liquid, pump hand soap, unscented laundry detergent, and other cleaning essentials. There are kids plates and plastic utensils and cups, kids Adirondack chairs on patio, and snacks on the kitchen counter. Nicely stocked kitchen with cooking supplies and utensils, including muffin tin! It’s hard to tell from a listing what is in the property, but this one has a lot of supplies!
Very responsive rental agency…responded to my every question quickly. Be aware…when they say the driveway is steep, they mean STEEP! We did not park on it, even with the wheel blocks provided. We fit four vehicles on the gravel lane on the street.
Everything worked. There were a couple of places that had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival, but overall it was acceptable. Basement is at least 10 degrees colder than upper level. Kids bunk bedroom is charming and delighted our toddler.

Nous étions 8 cyclistes et nous avons apprécié l'emplacement avec peu de dénivelé pour retourner à la maison. Sur 7 jours de vélo, nous avons pu faire 5 sorties de vélo à partir de la maison sans avoir à nous déplacer en voiture.
La maison était spacieuse à souhait pour que chacun ait son propre espace.
Les seuls points négatifs concernent la gestion des déchets. Premièrement, nous avons trouvé déplorable qu'il n'y ait pas de lieu pour disposer du recyclage. Nous avons tous eu un dilemme moral à jeter aux ordures des canettes en aluminium, des bouteilles de verre et des boîtes de carton. En deuxième lieu, l'endroit indiqué pour nous débarrasser des sacs à ordures pleins était très éloigné et pas du tout pratique.
Nous souhaitons également signaler que le dispositif de chauffage nous a semblé anormalement bruyant et pourrait avoir besoin d’entretien ou d’ajustements.

Beautiful home, we enjoyed our stay, only down fall to this home, is the driveway- if you have mobility issues- this is not the place- very steep driveway and slippery when wet! Otherwise the home was perfect! We loved the welcome bag of s’mores. Thank you for having us and we will return- let me add lots of games for all ages, our 6 year old loved the air hockey..

Great spacious house, really clean. Located super close to the Masanutten water park. Huge TV downstairs in the basement. House was fun for the kids as well. Hot tub was new, nice & hot. Fireplace & grill was perfect.
Like others have said, driveway is super steep! but there is a spot at the bottom of the hill on the gravel. Also, the trash drop off was inconvenient as you have to drive 3.5 miles to the Masanutten resort dump to drop off your trash.

The property was exactly as advertised. It was spotlessly clean and interacting with the property management team was very simple. The homeowners are adding a new patio and a hot tub so the place is getting even better. It was a very comfortable house, they left us great wood to make fires and we made fires each evening. The house is very close to the ski activities. My only minor minor complaint was that there was no bar soap for the bathrooms. We would have brought some had we known that they were not supplying it. Otherwise there was toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of clean towels, dish soap, trash bags, dishwashing detergent, clean sponge - they covered it all!!

We had such a great time! So much so, we cancelled all plans and stayed in the home to hang out and have fun! The air hockey table was a huge hit. The home is super clean (especially in comparison to other rentals we have been in). The decor is modern and beautiful. The outdoor area was so nice and the table was perfect to sit around and chat for hours. We had internet connection issue upon arrival and the rental company was so fast at helping us get it fixed! Very impressed with communication. We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the most well appointed rentals that we have ever had. Ample supplies, great variety of kitchen amenities and so much space! The game room/movie room was an added bonus. We spent a lot of time out in the screened in porch playing games and eating our meals. Overall made my birthday trip even more of a success. The property is well represented on the VRBO site. Very clean and decorated nicely. Everything was in working order. The linens are very nice, towels especially nice. About the only draw back we found was the very, very steep driveway. Our grandson thought it might be fun to run down, he’s 3, the fear of God set in when he couldn’t stop… thankfully his Daddy was there to catch him before wiping out. It would have been a terrible thing….. I would recommend the owners have some stairs incorporated into the front yard (sa the neighbors on each side have done). My family and I stayed here for three days. We wanted a home that was clean and comfortable. This house exceeded our expectations. We all felt like we was right at home. Everything appears and looks as pictured. The beds were super comfortable. The house was very clean. We appreciate the extra efforts that go into keeping this house clean following a pandemic. We can’t wait to come back and stay. The only thing we had to get use to was the big open kitchen window and patio doors at night lol. We are from an urban community so it took us a night or two to adjust to the open window and the darkness.

Cocoa Cabin was an excellent choice for our trip. It was extremely clean, very well stocked with pots and pans, dishes, glasses, towels, toilet paper, detergent. etc. The beds were very comfortable. Minor issue was a broken Keurig and and light bulb was out in main bed room. The house was just off the main road so that was convenient too. When checking out, we only had to put the towels in the laundry room and leave the beds unmade. This was appreciated, as we had an 8+ hour ride home.
This house is not for anyone disabled. It is a steep walk up the driveway and then multiple stairs to the front door, then another 6 steps to the main level. Outside there's not any yard but we didn't need it. My one complaint is the garbage situation. We had to take the garbage almost 15 minutes away and it is in the opposite direction to go home. That made us very unhappy.
All in all, it really is a great place for a large family or a reunion. Lots of space, air hockey table, 3 TV's and very updated products.

The property is beautifully decorated, updated and very clean. The kitchen lacks nothing and the common areas are stylish and comfortable. Bedrooms and beds are very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the porch, even in the cooler weather. The only less than perfect thing was the steep driveway (common for the properties in that area) with no flat landing to load/unload the vehicles. We really enjoyed our stay.

House is in excellent condition! Very clean and updated. The kitchen is in mint condition. The only caveat is that the community dumpster is about a 2.5 mile drive at the base of the ski slopes. Hopefully there is another location closer to the property in the future.

Great home away from home! Lots of space to spread out and enjoy. Clean and simple decor that lends itself to just relaxing and hanging with family/friends. We really loved the game room downstairs and the screened in porch where we enjoyed all of our meals.
5 bedrooms (big win) and 3 full bathrooms (huge win).
