Condo was great with a huge living room and dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed for our weekend. And it was really quick getting over to the lift area for skiing each day! Definitely would stay here again.

The unit was clean and comfortable for three adults and two children. It was located half mile from the ski lodge. Amenities were as promised. We participated in ice skating, The Perfect Break, skiing and indoor swimming. Food options were sufficient.

Great place to stay! We came up to ski and this is conveniently located close to the slopes for a quick drive over. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all your cooking needs. Would stay here again.

This place is booked through mountainside villas so you can get assistance from the front desk for issues or if you want to check out items. We got a unit along middlecoff Dr that was about 3 min up the road from the welcome center / front desk. You’ll get access to other facilities in the area too.

We really enjoyed our stay , great location .The Man that checked us in was very nice a so efficient. Our Microwave didn’t work when we arrived and he had a new one put in within an hour. The amenities were a plus! The only suggestion I have would be room darkening blinds or curtains.

Pros: Friendly staff at check-in and checkout. Comfortable, spacious place to stay.Cons: Booking modifications through VRBO are cumbersome and inefficient. On the afternoon before our scheduled checkout, the MVOA office told me directly that our unit was available to extend our stay an extra day. However, after finally getting a hold of VRBO via phone, the VRBO agent(s) was unable due confirm the modification on their end due to what appeared to me to be several technological and communication bottlenecks. The VRBO agent I spoke to was courteous and professional and told me a VRBO rep would follow up with me the next morning (before scheduled checkout). Well, VRBO sent me a follow-up text---not even a phone call---the next day around 2:30pm asking if I was still interested in extending my stay. Not possible because I already had to checkout by 10am that morning. I would gladly pay extra to book a short-term stay (not a timeshare) *directly* through MVOA vs. VRBO if that was ever an option.

Lots of room! Sauna and jacuzzi tub was a fantastic amenity with washer/dryer for kids wet clothes from slopes! Deer at back door was amazing! No complaints really…trash was overflowing dumpsters but very understandable with the ice/snow blocking pick ups

Although the temps were below freezing during our stay, the heater working to keep up with setting at 70 and unit in high 60s. Hot water excellent and sauna good recovery after all day on the slopes. Thumbs up for R&R.

great spot, one street over from the lodge at the top of the mountain. The space was bigger than I expected. You can see slopes from the back deck. The only reason I gave 4 stars on checkin was tou have to physically go into a building and check in and not just able to go up to the unit directly. Everyone was extremely helpful and very responsive and nice. Would definitely stay again.

Checkin was difficult. I called the number listed for Jeremy to get instructions and it was a call center that took forever to find my reservation because its Mountainview at Massanutten. Finally he was able to provide me with the accurate information. If you arrive after 6 PM you have to checkin at Massanutten then checkin with Moutainview the following morning. They hold a $250 deposit which we missed in the confirmation. Besides these 2 things we had a really good time. Oh yea, mever spoke to Jeremy 😂

We stayed in late October, loved seeing the falling leaves. The deer walking around on the golf course in the morning was magical. Found some great dining options nearby and grocery not far. The property was just what we were hoping for. We checked in late but it was easy to finish up the next morning, everyone was helpful and friendly. There was a Spartan race so the ski lift wasn't open to see the views.

The condo was amazing! So spacious, comfy, and easy access to lots of hikes. We are planning a girls trip here again!! Only thing that kinda stunk was that we had to do the late check in and even the person there said they don’t really work with the mountainside villas and gave us a key but not the door code so we had to walk around back at night to let ourselves in.

Love the location and the accommodations. It's a great family family vacation. Something for everyone. Love it every year. The mattress was really soft and I do not like the bedspread. It's scratchy and really thick.

Great location. Enjoyed the scenery. Staff and reservation desk were very friendly. I didn’t know that I could use service roads to off load luggage at start of stay. I did enjoy the hill climb 10 times to load and unload luggage.

Check in was a breeze. Loved the unit.....it was very spacious and laid out nicely for a family with four young children . Had all the comforts of home and was clean. The basket of starter supplies (soap, paper towels, etc) was great. Close to amenities and parks. Would highly recommend. The unit is at the bottom of a lot of stairs.

Me and my family enjoyed our trip to massanutten. You can tell that the townhomes are outdated compared to the condos that me and my husband stay in when we visit. But it was very comfortable and provided anything and everything that we need. Overall spacious stay with a good price.

The Mountainside Villas are the perfect place to stay at Massanutten--close to everything, comfortable, and priced right. We always go in the summer, and the nearest pool is a 5 minute walk. You're 10 minutes from the waterpark and only 25 minutes from Shenandoah NP.

I love the layout of the property and the amenities. If I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be the sauna and jacuzzi tub. The visual aesthetics were breathtaking and the opportunity to commune with nature -priceless. The deer walked up while we were sitting on the deck totally unbothered by our presence. Everything was amazing, the resort is exceptional we were not able to explore everything that the resort had to offer. I have limited mobility so the walk and steps from the parking area to the townhouse was difficult.

Great place, we were there for 2 nights. Its so peaceful and beautiful, we should have stayed 4-5 nights. The sauna and hot tub were amazing.
The only thing that would have been better was the early check-out time. The rushed checkout at 10 am was inconvenient for our family. It seems with accurate planning, they can clean and make it ready for 4pm next checkin.

We have been thinking of coming here for a number of years but never have. We will The property and the area were delightful The blind in the main bedroom was broken on arrival. I had to adjust the slats Manually in order to keep Light from the lamp post out when we slept.

I was not expecting this property to be as great as it was but it exceeded my expectations. Very woodsy, often deer sightings right at your door, view of the ski slopes . The house very was nice and spacious high ceilings , plenty of room for guest , balcony , dry sauna , jacuzzi tub , grill inside. This place was awesome I will be back . Nothing

Beautiful 2 story gas fireplace, had a loft with 2 beds in it, plus 2 bedrooms and the couch pulled out. Kitchen was nice and had everything you needed in it. Sauna in the unit!! I can’t think of anything. It was perfect for our family of 4.

We had a great stay MLK weekend for a ski trip with teens. Although only two bedrooms the loft provided a great hang out space and the eating area was spacious and kitchen well stocked (although note no spices/salt and pepper as some personal VRBOS have). We never ran out of hot water which is a plus with a lot of people! Just one street up from the ski resort! Passes to the Rec center and a borrowed crockpot from the rental office were appreciated! Welcome kit included enough paper products for the weekend. Note not easy access in snowy conditions for anyone with physical limitations but was great for us! It snowed 4" while we were there. Stair access from a walkway to nearby parking lot. Sectional shown in picture had been replaced by sleeper sofa and loveseat. Overall a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again for ease of use, access to ski resort and price! Fun ski trip!

First time in the area and think we found the place we will be back to over and over again. Very close to the slopes and all you could ever need! Check-in was seamless, condo was very clean and nice but I do recommend bringing your own pots and pans. All in all 5 stars is not enough!

Everything was great! From the location to a size of the house all was really perfect! Would stay there again and again. Deers come up very close to this place, it was very unique to see that. I wish there would be at least basic toiletries in all bathrooms

The rooms were spacious and clean the kitchen had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable. The water dripping from the gutter cause ice to build up at the door entrance was a little dangerous.

We visited Massanutten for the first time for a family ski trip. The villa is very spacious, the in-unit dryer was very convenient for drying out damp clothes. The sauna was also a wonderful ending to a long day of skiing. It’s a quick 2-minute drive to the parking lot and we walked right onto slope. Family would love to visit again.

The location was great and the check-in process was easy. The unit was clean and had a beautiful view of the golf course. The sauna and the hot tub in Villa was a great bonus. The fake fireplace was a letdown. I stayed in other units in Massanutten that have a real gas fireplace and that was way better . The unit looks pretty dated inside. Early 2000s, just needs a refresh and more comfortable beds.

The property is spacious and has plentty of room for all residents to "congregate". Wonderful view of the golf course off the first and second floor decks, deer is practically living in the back yard and eating from your hands. The Campfire Grill and the Rec.center is a short 3 min walk. Sauna is a perfect option! everything is clean and works!!!Definitely recommend for skiing and mountain exploring.

Nice clean townhome with a beautiful view, very spacious and More than enough space for my family of six. Host provides all the amenities you need, with extre sheets, blankets and pillows. Room tvs could be upgraded so that you can use the firestick and other streaming devices. The tv downstairs worked very well with streaming devices.

Plenty of space. Clean. Had 9 deer show up to the back door one morning. Very cool! The only negative was the early morning call to sell a timeshare while I’m off and get to sleep in for a change. Just unplug the corded phone when you get there. Easy fix.

Very beautiful and spacious. The scenery was amazing. Gets pretty cold downstairs in the winter. One of the heating vents in the room was making a weird squeaky noise that can kinda keep you up at night. They may banded to look into that. But other than that. Me and my family had an amazing time. Can’t wait to come back next time.

Great place. Couple big outdoor pools. Loads of activities for kids and adults. Families of deer hanging out all around the property. We loved the waterpark too.

This is a townhouse located in Massanutten VA, it has two spacious bedroom, with everything essential included for a comfortable stay, the biggest bathroom with sauna is on the main level. There is a spacious kitchen with washer and dryer. Lots of deers around :) The linens, mattresses, and some furniture could use an upgrade, but it is ok for the price we paid. Overall, we had a great time there and would recommend it to others

We spent 2 days with our teenage boys. House was nice and clean, everything was as advertised and meet our expectations. I was impressed with checking in, lady at the reception provided information about the resort and all the things we can use and see. I was very pleased. We did mountain biking, hiking and zip line. Went to indoor pool and jacuzzi. Overall lots of activity for entertainment and relax. Check out was easy. We had so much fun.

Chose this lodging while visiting our Granddaughter who is entry JMU. She brought her laundry with her and took advantage of the washer & dryer. Lots of deer in area; able to view from balcony. Also saw one ground from balcony. Easy access to Shenandoah National Park for great hiking and fall colors.

My first trip to the area and the views were breathtaking. The deer 🦌 walk right up and you know you’re one with nature. Our family enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back again soon.

Beautiful location in the woods. The unit we stayed in was nice and clean. The dining table could have been wiped down a little more because it was a little sticky but we really enjoyed our stay.

My family had an awesome weekend building great memories. I rented 4 houses close together and they were enormous and very spacious. We ate laughed and just enjoyed each other. The kids got to enjoy the pools and mountains and be kids. Planning to come back for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Can't wait to do it again next year. The houses were a perfect fit for what we needed for this family getaway. The best part was the price was right and I didn't have to do a tour to get it. I will most definitely be using them again in the future. We had so much fun cooking and enjoying each other's company that we didn't get to go to the go carts and other things there to enjoy what was there on the mountain. It's a must experience if you love the 🌄🌄🌄🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️. If you want to experience the mountains and build memories this is a great place to start. We had everything we needed in the house. Mountainside is a good and great place to stay for families and even for a romantic getaway as well. Everything was great no complaints at all very roomie

My family and I had a great experience and we loved the place and location. There are a lot activities for all ages and everything is inside the hotel/resort. The only problem was the check in, we arrived at 8pm after office hours and had to go to a different front desk office and It seems that they gave us the wrong code. We went back to the front desk but the young lady was not very helpful, she just told us, "try again because I can't change the code and the manager is not here." We returned to the place and the code still did not work. After like a hour outside trying to get in a older lady in the front desk was very nice and called the manager on duty to change the code and we were able to get in. besides this every else was great and I do recommend.

Loved EVERYTHING! The villas are exceptional! We are a family of 7 and we had PLENTY of room. We could've actually had 2 more people join us comfortably. The view was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and stocked well. Getting the key / key code was a little difficult. We arrived after hours, so we had to go to a different location than what was originally sent to us to get the keys, but we were able to call the after hours check in number and the rep was able to give us the directions to the right place.

Everything, seeing deer several times a day was awesome. Our air cond unit did not work. I felt this should have been checked prior to our stay. We felt comfortable with just opening the windows and told the service tech this when he left after 9:00 pm. Once he left, we discovered window either would not open or the screens did not fit tightly. The service tech offered to move us, but being elderly and tired, this did not seem to be an easy option due to the steps to get everything moved. My husband has COPD and my mother is 87 so I did not want them to go through moving that late at night. The unit was beautiful but hot at night with no air flow.

Beautiful location. The staff were so kind and helpful. It all in all was a great pleasure The house we stayed in had a little bit of old smell. Nothing too bad and definitely worth the rate. Definitely bring salt, pepper and shampoo, soap and conditioner

This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon

This place was amazing. The check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The resort area is huge, we were able to enjoy the pool, arcade, miniature golf, go cart and bumper cars just a short drive from our villas. There were other activities that we didn’t get to enjoy because of our short stay but there’s always something to do. The Villa exceeded our expectations, plenty of room for the entire family. The only negative thing we found was that the bedrooms or bathrooms didn’t have locks for privacy. Also the internet was unusable on the first day, however maintenance was sent to correct it first thing in the morning.
