King's Creek continues to ensure that your safety and comfort remain our top priority. We are taking the following steps to ensure your well-being while on property.

Installation of Protective Germ Barriers – We have installed barriers in both the Aquatic Center and Clubhouse to protect our staff and guests.

Social Distancing Markers – To help maintain and promote social distancing, floor and table markers will be displayed in commons areas and at each pool.

Face Coverings and Masks – In accordance with Governor Northam’s Executive Order 63, guests will be required to wear a face covering while inside shared access buildings.  Buildings requiring face coverings will have signs displayed on the entry doors.  Click here for more information on Executive Order 63.

Enhanced Cleaning Processes – We have stepped up precautionary measures and enhanced our cleaning processes to ensure the thorough cleaning and sanitizing of our guest units and regular sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces in the common areas. We are utilizing U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved disinfectant to clean all surfaces and equipment. In some cases, this process may delay, limit or halt access to certain areas. We ask for your advanced understanding that these inconveniences are for the safety of you, our staff, and other guests.

Healthy Hand Hygiene – Our staff continues to adhere to healthy hygiene guidelines. We recommend you wash or sanitize your hands often, especially after visiting common areas (i.e. lobby, pool, playground, etc.).

Posted Signage – You will notice signs promoting social distancing, healthy hand hygiene and other precautionary safety measures have been posted throughout the property.

In addition to the enhanced safety measures above, we have also made notable amenity changes noted below in Recreation.

Q. Are linens provided in the vacation home at King's Creek?
A. Yes, all bed linens and towels are provided in the homes. Charges only apply for EXTRA linens and towels.

Q. What additional household equipment is available during our stay?
A. Cribs, high chairs, and additional cookware are available upon request for no additional charge. Linens for the sleeper sofa are located in the closet.

Q. Are pool towels available at King's Creek?
A. Yes! Please inquire at the check-in desk.

Q. Are DVD players and Bose radios available at King's Creek?
A. Yes! Please inquire at the check-in desk.

Q. What playing equipment is available at the resort?
A. Rackets, tennis balls, basketballs, putt-putt, shuffleboard, and horseshoes are provided upon request at the Front Desk. There are also box games available for checkout.

Q. Are recycle bins on the property?
A. Yes! Recycle bins are located behind the Aquatic Center parking area.

Q. Are grills permitted on the resort property?
A. Gas grills are located throughout the property for your use. Operating instructions appear on the front of the grill. Further assistance is available by dialing "0" from your unit. Please remember to exercise caution when operating the gas grill and turn the valve to the OFF position when finished.

Q. What is your Pet Policy?
A. Except for service dogs, pets are not allowed at the resort. Our staff will be happy to recommend are facilities to accommodate your pet.

Q. Do you have a Noise Policy?

A. King's Creek is for the quiet enjoyment of our guests. Minors must be reasonably supervised at all times. We reserve the right to remove individuals who disturb, disrupt, or prohibit the enjoyment of other guests...potentially resulting in the forfeiture of all deposits made. Local policies may be summoned to assist in enforcing these standards.

Noise must be kept to a minimum.

In the event noise levels disturb others, our staff will take the appropriate action to address the situation promptly with the possibility of removing the guests from the resort.


UNIT NUMBERS ARE NOT GUARANTEED

The resort reserves the right to make unit number adjustments in the vent of emergency maintenance or housekeeping moves. Unit number reassignments may also occur to improve inventory availability. If a guest desires a specific unit number, please be sure to contact our reservation department at 888-811-7850 immediately following the reservation submission to note your request. Requests are gladly taken but are NOT guaranteed.



RECREATION

Due to the shifting COVID-19 regulations in Virginia, many King's Creek activities is operating at partial capacity which means there will be limited availability. We encourage all guests to make activity reservations in advance by calling the resort. Please visit the below link to view current hours and contact info for resort activities.

Indoor Pool: Daily 7 am – 10 pm

Outdoor Pools: Daily 10 am – 8 pm
Fitness Center: Daily 7 am - 10 pm

In addition to the enhanced safety measure above, we have also made notable amenity changes:

Discontinued Pool Towel Services – Pool towels will no longer be available at the pools or in guest units. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. We recommend bringing one (1) with you.

No Pool Parties – Upon the opening of the pools, in effort to allow all guests the ability to utilize this amenity, pool parties will not be allowed.

Closure of Sauna & Steam Rooms – For health and safety concerns, the saunas and steam rooms will be closed until further notice.

Gym – The gym is open upon a limited capacity, reflective of the Governor's orders for gyms and fitness facilities. the gym will now operate under a 25% capacity.

Limited Supply of Toiletries & Cleaning Products – Due to the ongoing shortage, you will be provided with the initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc. We recommend you bringing these items with you as most local stores continue to be out of stock on these items.

Limited Activities & Concierge Services – You will receive information regarding the status of these and other amenities at check-in.

Aquatic Center – The Aquatic Center is currently open with a revised schedule: 7 am – 10 pm.
